Stony Creek - our launching point to Mother-In-Law, our private island
We will start our painting workshop with a welcome visit and cocktails on Mother in Law Island

Here is a list of lodging options in and around Stony Creek.
This will be high season at the Thimble Islands so I strongly recommend making a reservation NOW! If you have any questions about the lodging options just ask me.

Let's visit the Great American Impressionism Art Museum
of Old Lyme
Old Saybrook is one of Connecticut's oldest towns having been settled in 1635!
Guilford, settled in 1639 is a small, charming town with a true rustic character.

There are two ways to get to Stony Creek, our launching point for Mother in Law Island and our watercolor workshop. You can take the Metro North train and get off either at New Haven or transfer there and take the Shore Line East to either Branford or Guilford.
Of course the best way would be to drive. I would like to have enough vehicles, including our own to car pool to the various painting locations. Coming north or south on I-95 you would take exit 56.
