The workshop of your choice is reserved by making a $300 or $500 deposit depending on workshop. This can be a check payable to  1 World Art Travel at 69 Bank Street Suite 102 New York, NY 10014 or by  using the credit card of your choice.

Workshop registration is on a first come first served basis determined by the date of your deposit. Balance must be paid upon receipt of invoice otherwise your space may be relinquished.

Cancellation requests  will be honored if received by e-mail 60 days before the starting date of a workshop to qualify for a partial refund of your deposit. If you qualify for a refund and your deposit was $300 a refund will be made, minus $150. If your deposit was an amount other than $300 the same formula will apply ie: you will refunded 1/2 of your deposit. Or you may choose to apply the full amount of your deposit on any other workshop of your choice and not pay the penalty. 

The teacher will be replaced only in the event of necessity. If a teacher cancels I will find the best possible substitute available. If you've already paid your deposit before the instructors cancellation the above policy on refunds still applies, that is the refund is made minus $150. If your final payment is made before the cancellation by the instructor, there will be no refund. There will however be a credit lasting two years from the date of notification of the instructor's cancellation. In the case of the teacher not arriving at the workshop location there will be no refunds. A substitute teacher will take over the class.

After full payment is received refunds are made, minus 20% of the total amount of the workshop, only if your place is filled - there are no exceptions. If your place cannot be filled you will receive a full credit (minus a 20% change fee) with a one year time limit on its use. Refunds on any payments made with credit cards will subtract the fee to process the original payment - usually 2.9%. If in taking your credit, you choose a workshop lower in value than the original one, you will not receive the difference. If you receive a credit and apply all or part to another workshop, and that one is canceled, the credit will apply to any future workshop within a one year window.

If you sign up for single occupancy and switch to double after arriving at the workshop lodging there will be no reimbursement for the change. However, if you sign up for double occupancy and change to single occupancy they you will need to pay the difference.

Due to the fluctuations in the Euro we may need to re-price the trip costs if the exchange rate changes by more than 10 percent either way at the time the final payment is due. The cost of a workshop might increase or decrease during the course of the year based on the fluctuation of the Euro.

Release forms will be sent to you at some point after receipt of your deposit and must be signed and returned with your final payment. During the course of the year you will receive information covering: using credit and debit cards vs travelers checks, materials lists, lodging details, use of long distance phone cards, travel insurance, health insurance - everything you need to know to make this a truly fabulous experience. You must be able to function in a workshop environment (carry and set up your own equipment) without assistance.

1WorldArtTravel is not responsible for reimbursements of nonrefundable airline tickets due to cancellation of the workshop. Travel insurance is recommended. Location can be changed under agreement with instructor. Lodging can be changed due to unforeseen circumstances. Once full payment is made there will be no reimbursements or refunds if the client either arrives later or departs earlier than the workshop dates. 1WorldArtTravel is not responsible for additional services that are not included in the workshop description.
